Who We Serve

Our programs are designed for adults who want expert nutrition support that is realistic, personalized, and grounded in evidence-based care. You may be looking for help with:

  • blood sugar concerns or insulin resistance
  • elevated cholesterol or fatty liver
  • weight changes or metabolic health concerns
  • nutrition support while taking GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic
  • meal planning that fits real life
  • ongoing accountability and follow-up

We work with clients who want more than generic nutrition advice — and who benefit from a thoughtful, individualized approach.

Our Approach

We use evidence-based nutrition care informed by current clinical guidelines, your medical history, lab results, and personal preferences. Whether you are managing prediabetes, supporting medication like Ozempic or Mounjaro, addressing cholesterol or fatty liver, or working on sustainable habit change, your dietitian will build a plan that is realistic, flexible, and tailored to your life.

Meal planning is personalized — not one-size-fits-all. We work with you to create an approach that feels sustainable and supports your health goals without rigidity or restriction.

More than a single appointment

Our programs combine nutrition counselling with practical implementation support, including personalized meal planning, review of medical history and relevant lab work, and follow-up guidance tailored to your needs. Depending on the program, support may also include secure messaging, ongoing check-ins, and evidence-informed supplement review when appropriate.

This is designed to help you move from knowing what to do to actually following through in a way that feels sustainable.

Our Commitment to Weight-Inclusive, Trauma-Informed Care

At Wise Eats Nutrition, we believe that health is not determined by body size, and that all bodies deserve dignity, respect, and compassionate care.

We practice from a Health at Every Size® (HAES) framework and do not promote weight loss as a treatment goal. We know that dieting and weight cycling increase disordered eating risk — especially for those in recovery.

Our approach to nutrition:

  • Is anti-diet and anti-weight stigma
  • Centers bodily autonomy and interoceptive awareness
  • Supports eating disorders recovery in collaboration with treatment teams
  • Honors lived experience and cultural food practices
  • Focuses on behavior, not BMI

While we provide medical nutrition therapy for chronic conditions, we do so without prescribing weight loss. Instead, we focus on sustainable habits, joyful movement, food security, and long-term well-being.

We acknowledge that many people have been harmed by the healthcare system — especially those in larger bodies or with eating disorder histories. We are committed to safer, kinder, and more inclusive care.

What working together looks like

Your program begins with a comprehensive nutrition assessment where we review your health history, goals, eating patterns, and any relevant lab work. From there, we build a practical plan tailored to your needs.

Depending on the level of support you choose, your program may include:

  • personalized meal planning
  • follow-up nutrition counselling
  • review of dietary patterns and nutrient intake
  • evidence-informed supplement review when appropriate
  • secure messaging or brief check-ins between appointments
  • optional body composition assessment for clients who want that information

Our approach is collaborative, flexible, and designed to support progress in a way that feels realistic over time.

Personal Reflections on Ozempic

In this video, I’m sharing a personal reflection on my experience with Ozempic to treat my own metabolic disorder.  This isn’t medical advice, just my own story, shared in the hope that it helps others feel a little more informed and a little less alone. It's not the whole story. Using a GLP 1 is a medical treatment and would be part of a comprehensive health program, not just used for weight loss.
